I was asked a great question today : “Should I have just the area around my mouth treated with laser or my whole face?” If the area around your mouth is your only concern then yes that would be fine. Using our techniques today your risk of significant color differences should be minimized. However most of our patients in Texas have sun damage throughout their face and would benefit from treating the whole face. We tailor the treatment in each specific area to their needs. In the end, the recovery is pretty much the same whether we treat one isolated area or the whole face. Great question!
